COURSE CONTENT: Open to beginners in sculpture and students with any level of drawing or painting experience, this four week course will focus on the study of the human head, including its anatomy, features and expression. Throughout the course you will learn how to sculpt a traditional portrait bust out of air dry clay, which will enhance your understanding of the facial plane, as well as how to approach a subject with three dimensions.

COURSE CONTENT: This enjoyable and experiential four week course is perfect for students who wish to paint outdoors or while traveling, and will focus on traditional watercolour painting techniques inspired by the Australian landscape. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to experience a relaxing combination of working both in the studio and plein air (outdoors, weather permitting).

Taught by award winning watercolourist Terry Jarvis, who is locally and internationally renowned for his inspiring and entertaining teaching methods.

COURSE CONTENT: COURSE CONTENT: Taught by Ben Howe, an accomplished photo realist with over 20 years’ experience as a practising artist, students will have the opportunity to explore both traditional and contemporary oil painting techniques to create an original and accomplished painting. Students will be guided through each step of the process from composition and observation to drawing, tonal value, brush technique, colour preparation, glazing and more, with the scope for an individualised development of technique. For students who are advanced in their practice, there are also a limited number of spaces for those who wish to develop an individual piece or body of work under Ben's mentorship. COURSE CONTENT: This eight week course, suitable for both beginner and advanced students, will examine the fundamental principles of abstract painting, and will explore a variety of mediums, techniques and approaches. Each class will lead you through a series of exercises that aim to establish a deeper understanding of what is required to create a complete and informed series of works.
